BIOGRAPHY

Alexis was not one of the thousands of players that got trap in SAO during its first release. It is not that she wasn't interested; she had other reasons for not giving the game a try. Those reasons consisted of a social life.

Alexis is what someone people would call a closet gamer. At home she reads comics, marathons video games and watches cartoons. At school, and out in society, she puts on a facade. This facade likes girly things--Stuffed animals, accessories, make up--And prefers to talk about boys and shopping. This was her attempt to make friends in the 'real world' and since she started this facade, she hasn't been able to get rid of it. Every time she considered telling her friends about her hobbies, she always froze up and worried that they might not like her as much if she did. The reason that she did not play SAO two years ago was because she knew she would be consumed by it. To some, that decision might have been a blessing.

For Alex, that decision has been filled with regrets. She regretted not getting stuck in the game like others. Not having to put on her facade, and not having to deal with real life issues like school and shopping. The moment that the game came back online, she dived into it. Full dived into it.

As late as she was to get in the game, she knew she was at a disadvantage. Other players knew far more than she did. As such, she listened for rumors and focused on doing things that other players didn't. Linguistics, for example, was a skill she leveled because she heard that other players rarely leveled it. Hours reading books was required, and most would be deterred. Alexis, however, read with passion. Read until she could use some of the 'cooler' magic the game had to offer.

In the game she takes on a different personality. Less worried about what others think, and what others are doing. Instead, she goes off on her own -- Without a guild, without a group. Sometimes leveling skills, and other times searching for treasure. Each day is different, and she enjoys the time that she gets to play. Even if it means getting only a couple hours of sleep.

INVENTORY

WEAPON NAME: Witch's Staff
DESCRIPTION: The Witch's Staff is a rare item that Alexis found while dungeon diving. She has held onto it because it has an effect that increases the damage of spells that are cast. The staff is a brown, wooden staff with some leafy branches. When it is used in conjuction with casting spells, it has a green aura around it.

WEAPON NAME: Mythril Dagger
DESCRIPTION: When she is not casting magic, Alexis is wielding a dagger. The small blade allows her to take advantage of her own speed. She can dash in to attack an enemy and still have the maneuverability to escape unexpected attacks. The mythril dagger is a blue dagger with a curved edge. It is most often held in her right hand.

ARMOR NAME: Astral Tunic
DESCRIPTION: A blue tunic with cotton white slacks. These were crafted by Alexis using rare materials she found in a dungeon. They do well to increase her dexterity and accuracy. The top has golden stars as decorations.

ARTS

SKILL NAME: Sword Art: Whirlwind
DESCRIPTION: Alexis will pivot on her foot with her dagger out. By doing this, she will spin and cut anything around her in the process.

SKILL NAME: Sword Art: Spiral Blade
DESCRIPTION: Alexis will leap forward and bring her dagger down. As she does this, her body will spin until the blade has moved into a complete circle. This applies more force onto a targe than if she only struck with the dagger.

SKILL NAME: Sword Art: Dagger Toss
DESCRIPTION: Alexis tosses her dagger towards a target. The thrown dagger can cut a target. But if the dagger is repelled, or bounces off the target, she will dash forward, grab it and slash downward for a critical hit.

MAGIC

SPELL NAME: Heal
DESCRIPTION: A spell that can be casted on any target within view. When it is cast, a white light will engulf a target before healing them for a small fraction of their health.

SPELL NAME: Wind Cutters
DESCRIPTION: A spell that will cover a weapon's edge with wind, increasing cutting damage by quite a bit.

SPELL NAME: Wind Cutters
DESCRIPTION: She will hold a closed hand close to her boxum as she casts this spell. At the last moment she will reach forward and open her hand. As she does this, three blades of wind will be fired in the direction that her hand is pointing, cutting anyone that is hit.
