no one hates me quite like you PERSONALITY Tooru comes off as a complete joker. She has the tendency to put herself at the butt of jokes, act like a complete goofball and try to lighten the mood whenever she can through various wisecracks, puns, or just generally acting a fool in front of others. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's groan-inducing, and sometimes it's nor appropriate at all for the situation, something she seldom has the ability to read. She is the seemingly optimistic funnyman of the group, something who seems to be decently reliable, loyal to her village and friends, and always trying to make people laugh. In turn, she can often come off as an idiot, which is the case more often than not, and is hardly ever taken seriously by her peers. Nobody believes she's an ANBU unless they see her tongue. Inwardly, it is a completely different story. The only reason she constantly makes jokes is to hide her own insecurities try to improve on her hopeless situation. Humour is a method of coping for her, and a means of trying to make other people like her. Perhaps it is a nod to her low self-esteem, another one of her rampant attempts to seem like she is a fine and confident person, when in truth, she boasts just as much hurt and dangerously treads close to the Curse of Hatred as so many others in her clan do. In spite of that, she has made it a point to try her best to stick to the Will of Fire as her lifelong ideology, or at least fool herself into thinking it. Tooru's true self is her outward nature's opposite, an empty, aloof husk almost vacant of its own nature, integrated with the lone function of serving the village as a dark weapon, going through the motions of a regular person. Perhaps that has begun to change since meeting her new friends. and let me show you the proof BIOGRAPHY Even when it comes to those who know her as a friend, there is very little information on Tooru Uchiha. Nobody seems to recall seeing her during their days in the academy, even the ones who are her age and should have graduated around the same time. Nobody recalls seeing her during their Genin years when they were doing low rank missions with their teams, and nobody recalls seeing her during the Chuunin exams where they worked together and competed against one another to achieve the illustrious status of Chuunin. For most people, the only time someone actually seen and heard of Tooru was when she was suddenly integrated into Team 11, filling in a spot that recently became vacant, and was billed as an ANBU from a discreet branch that not even the leader of the team and supervisors seemed to know anything about. They were assured she could be trusted, but other than that, the most people know about her publically is that she is apparently an ANBU, apparently is from the Uchiha clan, is a joker, and is part of the shadowy part of Konoha's forces. Naturally, rumours were bound to circulate about her. Higher up individuals know that she is an orphan, her parents seemingly deceased from a young age. The Uchiha clan mostly claims to have never seen her before, but did note thirteen years ago there was a domestic homicide where a member of the clan murdered their spouse before disappearing themselves. A missing person's report was filed for a child, but nothing came of it. At the same time, these are just rumours that Konoha's higher powers and ANBU have vehemently denied, leading many to believe it as baseless speculation. These rumours are further debunked by the fact Tooru herself claims to have an existing relationship with her parents, but does not reveal information about who they are for their sake. She also claims to have a sibling, but when it comes to this experiment of a person, it's impossible to tell what is and what isn't true. KEKKEI GENKAI/JINCHUURKI/CLAN Tooru is part of the Uchiha clan, allowing her to access the legendary doujutsu, the sharingan. Currently, Tooru's eyes are at the pinnacle of their ability without one more excessively traumatic event to push them to the next level; in turn, three tomoes denote her proficiency as they circle the pupil of her eye. At this stage, she has access to chakra vision (and in turn shadow vision), casting and reversing genjutsu through the use of her doujutsu alone, and copying techniques she sees as fast as they come towards her by mimicking the handseal string and nature at the same time. NINJUTSU Like most Uchiha, Tooru has a natural affinity with Fire (Katon) techniques. In turn, a lot of her ninjutsu arsenal is bloated with various streams, waves, and projectile fire techniques native to her clan. However, her main proficiency developed later on, as she started focusing on Wind (Fuuton) techniques, either on their own, or wedding them to her fire techniques to create a more devastating effect. Other than the sharingan, ninjutsu is one of Tooru's best points. In addition to the fuuinjutsu (sealing technique) that is on her tongue preventing her from talking about ANBU matters, an experimental seal is between her neck and shoulder. It is called a cursed seal, instilled onto the user through means that almost cost her life, and when used, forcibly draws out the user's chakra to bolster their process. Its use is denoted by black markings spreading across her body. However, it places a toll on the user's body for obvious reasons. Tooru is able to use the "level two" phase, further increasing her prowess and causing even more strain, and causing her body to mutate, turning her skin dark brown, her sclera black, her eyes yellow and her hair and off-colour. She also gains a pair of wings and horns in this form. Additionally, Tooru has made a summoning contract with crocodiles. Most notable techniques: NINJUTSU NAME: Fūton: Shinkūjin (Wind Style: Vacuum Blade) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: The user exhales wind-infused chakra onto an armament of their choice, extending its reach and sharpness through a transparent green blade of wind. The shape of the weapon determines the shape of the blade, as a kunai would form a sword-like weapon, whereas a shuriken would turn it into a large fan-like blade. NINJUTSU NAME: Fūton: Shinkūha (Wind Style: Vacuum Wave) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: The user exhales, unleashing a wave of wind that, as they spin, creates a solitary blade of air that covers a large area around the user, courtesy of their rotation. The sharpness of the wind is known to cause grievous injuries to those hit. NINJUTSU NAME: Fūton: Shinkū Renpa (Wind Style: Vacuum Blast Barrage) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: The user exhales, expelling a multitude of blades of wind towards a target, whose trajectory can be altered by rapidly moving their head. NINJUTSU NAME: Fūton: Shinkūgyoku (Wind Style: Vacuum Bullets) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: The user inhales and exhales (portrayed as spitting out) small bullets of wind over and expansive range, almost skin to shotgun fire, towards a target, making it harder to elude due to the broad range it covers. NINJUTSU NAME: Fūton: Shinkū Taigyoku (Wind Style: Vacuum Great Sphere) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: A child technique of Shinkūgyoku where instead of shooting a multitude of bullets from her mouth, Tooru focuses it all into one large sphere and projects it towards a target. NINJUTSU NAME: Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Style: Great Fireball) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: The user inhales, moulding fire chakra in their body, before expelling it as a large ball of flame, or a continuous stream. Its output and scope is determined by the amount of chakra invested into it. A coming of age rite to the Uchiha clan. NINJUTSU NAME: Katon: Haijingakure no Jutsu (Fire Style: Hiding in Ash) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: The user exhales a continuous stream of ash and flame from their mouth, blanketing the area in a psuedo-smokescreen that burns and ignites all it touches. The predominant purpose of this technique is employing a more effective smokebomb and is used mostly as a means of escape. NINJUTSU NAME: Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku (Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation) NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: A powerful technique attributed to the Uchiha clan where the user exhales a widescale wave of flame from their mouth, spanning over a range large enough to raze several large buildings at once. Due to the incredible amount of chakra this consumes to the regular shinobi like Tooru, using it is ill-advised. NINJUTSU NAME: Crocodile Summoning NINJUTSU DESCRIPTION: Performed by drawing their own blood and spreading it on a canvas, the user is able to summon the animal they are contracted to, crocodiles. Ranging from sizes (depending on chakra consumption) to normal sized to large as entire apartment complexes, these largely immobile creatures use their proficiency in water and wind techniques to force their prey towards their gaping mouths. TAIJUTSU Like most Uchiha, Tooru is formidable when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Strategic use of fuuma shuriken, kunai, shuriken, wire, and explosive tags are incorporated into her style, but the main reason she is talented at hand to hand is because of the Sharingan's ability to copy, and that is inclusive to fighting styles. She may not be as good as a pure taijutsu specialist, but through shadow vision, she can certainly keep up with their pacing. GENJUTSU Genjutsu is one of the Uchiha clan's strongsuits, but Tooru doesn't have too much of a focus on the art. When she casts genjutsu through her eyes, it is usually subtle trickery to throw off an opponent, rather than complex worlds to ensnare them. As such, her use of genjutsu is more supportive of her other tactics, creating openings for herself. Additionally, seeing through and reversing genjutsu is within the realm of the Sharingan.
