Background.
Naruto is a series revolving around the titular character, Naruto Uzumaki, and follows his experiences in a world inhabited by ninjas. There are a multitude of countries in the world which are all lead by a non-ninja government, while still possessing a ninja village, called a hidden village, that takes care of the needs of the people. There are five "main" hidden villages: Fire Country's Konohagakure no Sato (Village Hidden by Leaves), Wind Country's Sunagakure no Sato (Village Hidden by Sand), Lightning Country's Kumogakure no Sato (Village Hidden by Clouds), Earth Country's Iwagakure no Sato (Village Hidden by Rocks), and Kirigakure no Sato (Village Hidden by Mist). Their respective leaders are the Hokage (Fire Shadow), Kazekage (Fire Shadow), Raikage (Fire Shadow), Tsuchikage (Fire Shadow), and the Mizukage respectively. Uzumaki Naruto and friends do not exist in the non-canon board, rather, this is an alternate universe where military tensions are high between the villages, and some skirmishes are making it out to be a Cold War of sorts.Naruto has time and time again demonstrated that the technology is much higher than its feudal architecture implies; rifles on counters, flying devices, etc. As such, simply think of it like 80's technology setting-wise, though know that any advanced medical procedures cannot be done without the aid of medical ninja techniques. general outline
For the most part, we're going to have player-run plots in this board. Players are free to do anything they desire, within reason, when it comes to who, what, and why they plot, its development, etc. The world is for the members to dictate and sculpt to their leisure. Enough investment in this universe will eventually net you a position in the "Village Council", which will allow you to make bigger decisions when it comes to plot and the direction of our alternate universe.There is a soft cap of Jounin rank when it comes to the characters you make. We don't want to see Six Path Sages and Uchiha Madaras running around constantly, as freaks of nature like those are rare. Instead, characters of that station are best reserved for events as NPCs when they are a needed plot device. Be reasonable and don't go out of your way to be overpowered, make sure your characters have weaknesses and flaws to ensure that everyone's roleplay experience is enjoyable. As a character from another one of our universes said, there's nothing interesting about truly achieving perfection, right?
bloodlines & jinchuuriki
With the exception of Rinnegan and Six Path Sage powers, you are allowed to use any bloodline that is shown in the manga and anime, be it Uchiha, Hyuuga, Aburame, Kaguya, etc. You are even allowed to devise your own clan or theme of your character's skillset. The sky is is limit when it comes to your creativity, just don't make them broken; if we see broken characters, they will be ignored and or archived. Try to keep everything fair so everyone can have fun. While you aren't allowed to have a Tailed Beast sealed in your character, you are allowed to have a demon sealed inside of them to still operate as a jinchuuriki themed character. But as mentioned before, keep it fair, do not make characters without flaws/weaknesses.basic rules
Your Jinchuuriki cannot be host to a Bijuu (Tailed Beast).You can't start as a Kage, or Sennin. You can be anything Jounin or lower.
No Rinnegan, Six Paths powers, or anything on that Godly scale.
Don't powergame, godmode, metagame, etc.
Don't grief people. If we see that you're intentionally going around making their experience worse in the form of ganking weaker characters for no reason (for example, one of many), we will take action.
