«Bleach Information»
Background.
Bleach is the story of a highschooler, Ichigo Kurosaki, who meets a shinigami named Rukia Kuchiki. It is about their adventures fighting hollow and learning the mysteries of the Gotei 13. We could say more, but we actually suggest that you take a look at the Bleach Wiki if you are not familiar with the series. This page will not cover everything about the series. It also will not say everything you can and cannot do in this universe. What we will establish is the type of world we have and the type of characters you can create.
The Timeline
All Bleach boards are non-canon except for the one that explicitly says canon on it. This means that characters from the series do not exist in this world. This does not mean that events from the series cannot happen in this world. If they do happen, it is because an original character made it happen. This Bleach universe is open to developments, and those developments can be different for one character to the next. We are not going to restrict characters to the same universe. This means that two characters can be captains of the same division. If they are, they would not be able to meet under normal circumstances because they will be in different universes.
You are also free to make characters that are the previous or next captain to another character. In these cases you should talk to the other person.
Members are free to participate in closed plots, or to get other members together for larger stories. It is up to you how this works out. If we feel that anyone is taking it too far, we will simply ask them to dial it back.
The Races
You can create a character of any race from the series. It does not matter whether it is an anime race (Like Bounts), filler race (Like Zanpakuto) or any other type of race. This means you can make Bounts, Zanpakuto, Shinigami, Arrancar, Vizard, Humans and more. The Limitations
You cannot be the Soul King. You cannot make the head captain of the Gotei 13.
You cannot control other characters without their player's permission.
You cannot auto-kill characters that are not death enabled.
If a character's 'Setting' is 'Not Death Enabled' they cannot be killed. If they would be killed, they are fatally wounded and revived later.
Changing your character's 'Setting' after they are fatally wounded does not save them from death.
A Death Enabled character that is killed must be revived using logical means. These will need to be played out by another character.
